Feedback and complaints
Tell us what we do well and what we could do better. We take every complaint seriously, and making one will never affect the care you receive.
Ways to get in touch
- Call us01702 203233
- Email usinfo@hockleypharmacy.co.uk
- Use our contact formChoose "Feedback or complaint" as the subject.
- Leave a reviewTell other patients about your visit.
You can also speak to any member of the team in the pharmacy and ask to speak to the pharmacist. Many concerns can be put right straight away.
What happens when you complain
- We acknowledge it. We will confirm that we have your complaint within 3 working days.
- We look into it fairly. Grace Abiodun Famuyibo, our superintendent pharmacist, is responsible for making sure it is investigated properly. We will talk to the people involved and look at the records.
- We give you a full reply. We aim to write to you within 20 working days, explaining what we found, what we will do about it and, where it applies, an apology. If we need longer we will tell you why and keep you updated.
- We learn from it. We keep a record of every complaint and use it to improve how we work.
If you are not happy with our reply
- For an NHS service, once you have had our final reply you can ask the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman to look at your complaint.
- You can also contact NHS England or your local integrated care board about NHS pharmacy services.
- The General Pharmaceutical Council regulates pharmacies and pharmacists and looks at concerns about whether professional standards are being met. It cannot deal with every complaint, so please speak to us first.
